Dr. Nuria Selva Fernandez
She is an Andalusian biologist(by education), for a dozen
or so years she has been conducting research in the area of the
Bialowieza Forest. She gained a doctorate at the University of Sevilla.
The subject of her diploma project was 'The role of carrion for the predator
community in the Bialowieza Forest'. Her life partner is a journalist Adam
Wajrak and together they are very committed to many activities concerning
protection of the wild nature. He is an assistant professor at the PAN Nature
Protection Institute in Cracow.
