Dr. eng. Bogdan Jaroszewicz
Dr. Engineer Bogdan Jaroszewicz - the director of the Bialowieza Geobotanical
Station of the University of Warsaw, for many years a deputy director of the
Bialowieza National Park. He deals with the ecology of natural forest. A member
of many societies & associations(Polish Entomological Society, Polish Society
of Nature Protection Services, Polish Tourist Country-Lovers' Society, European
Bison Friends Society-a founder). An author of many publications & scientific
theses. With his scientific & didactic activities he popularizes scientific and
natural values of the Bialowieza Forest. Many times with his opinions he has
supported actions of non-governmental ecological organizations providing
arguments for protection of the Bialowieza Forest.
