Andrzej Keczyński
Engineer Andrzej Keczyński is a graduate from the
Forest Dept. of SGGW in
Warsaw(1988). In years 1989-1990 he worked as an
engineer-technician in the Forest Management Centre of SGGW.
At the beginning of 1991 he took up a job in the BNP.
At present he is working in the Scientific Lab of the Bialowieza
National Park. He is the author of several publications on the BNP's
flora and the forest beekeeping history in the Bialowieza Forest(eg.
an article "O jedną sosnę bartną mniej"(one beekeeping pine less) -
Pasieka 2005) . He has also written the following books: "Drzewa
Białowieskiego Parku Narodowego"(The trees of the BNP), "Atlas
ubytku asymilacyjnego drzew leśnych"(Atlas of assimilative loss of forest trees)
(Warsaw 1992) & "Drewniane cerkwie Białostocczyzny"
(Wooden orthodox churches of the Bialystok region)
(Białystok-Białowieża 1999), written along with his wife Ewa
Moroz-Keczyńska. He is the author of numerous photographic &
graphic exhibitions(including drawings of Leon Wyczółkowski &
XIX-century graphic arts presenting the Bialowieza Forest).
He helps in making the web sites "The Bialowieza Forest Oaks"
and "The BNP Trees". Without his support the material collected on
these sites would be poorer."
