Since July 2001-the manager of the project 'WWF Białowieski Park Narodowy'.
For a long time he has been involved in the nature protection, he graduated
in biology from the University of Warsaw branch in Bialystok, then he was
dedicated to Biebrza where he started cooperating with WWF. When he was offered
a job in Bialowieza, he decided to take it up. He had always wanted to have
something in common with the area of The Bialowieza Forest and its protection
because his roots were there. His great-grandparents, grandparents and parents
all came from this area. He has always been emotionally involved with this region
and felt a necessity of coming back to his roots. He is also a co-author of
many publications of the Bialowieza Forest.
